Miami Heat All-Star Jimmy Butler has been fined $25,000 for violating league rules governing media access.

According to the NBA, Butler was fined for “violating league rules governing media interview access and for his noncompliance with the resulting NBA investigation.”

Butler did not speak to any media during All-Star Weekend and refused to let the league know why.

The 32-year-old has an average salary of $35,197,650, so this won’t hurt his wallet.

Butler is averaging 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists so far this season.

The Heat are currently second in the Eastern Conference, and they have back-to-back matchups Friday in New York and Saturday against San Antonio.
