Lamar Jackson resumes throwing activities

USA Today

Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson has resumed throwing activities.

Jackson had been shut down from football activities after he missed the final five weeks of the NFL season with a bone bruise in his ankle.

Apparently both Jackson and the Ravens are working on a contract extension, and this news can only help Jackson as Baltimore heads into the offseason.

The 25-year-old is currently set to make $23,016,000 in 2022 after Baltimore exercised his option in April of 2021.

Jackson played in 12 games last season, throwing for 2,882 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.

He also ran for 767 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Jackson may be the most electric player in the NFL at the moment, and Baltimore will likely lock him up with a major contract at some point this year.
