Rams activate Darrell Henderson from IR

USA Today

The Los Angeles Rams activated running back Darrell Henderson from injured reserve ahead of the Super Bowl.

This is great news for LA, especially since they’re getting another option at RB for the big game.

The Bengals defense have been struggling a bit stopping the run this post season, and they’ve allowed a total of 382 rushing yards.

Rams head coach Sean McVay briefly spoke on the running back usage and said, “Like anything else, if we’re able to get into a rhythm running it, we’re going to go with the hot hand.”

Henderson hasn’t played since Week 16’s game against the Vikings, so he may have to shake off a little rust in his first few carries.

Henderson ran for a total of 688 yards and five touchdowns in the 2021 season.

Los Angeles also did not list receiver Van Jefferson on their injury report, and placed tight end Tyler Higbee on injured reserve with a knee injury.
