Pacers not planning to deal Buddy Hield

After recently acquiring sharp shooter Buddy Hield, the Indiana Pacers have no plans to trade him.

Indiana traded for Hield, Tyrese Haliburton and Tristan Thompson on Wednesday for Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, and a 2027 second-round draft pick.

It’s unclear how Indiana will utilize their crowded backcourt with Hield, Haliburton, Malcom Brogdon, rookie Chris Duarte, and recently signed Lance Stephenson.

The NBA trade deadline ends tomorrow at 3:00 PM, and Indiana may not be done slinging deals by that time.

The Pacers are currently 13th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-37 record.

Hield was averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists coming off the bench for the Kings this season.
