The NFL Network reported that the San Francisco 49ers reached out to the Green Bay Packers about acquiring 2020 NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers.
According to Tom Pelissero of the network, no formal offer was made and that there’s a zero percent chance Green Bay will move Rodgers.
Rodgers, now 37-years-old, is curently under contract with the Packers until the 2022 season after he signed a 4-year, $134 million extension in 2018.
He threw for league bests last season in completion percentage (70.7), touchdown passes (48), and had the best QB rating (121.5) earning him his MVP trophy.
Although teams are reportedly reaching out for Rodgers, it’s most likely that he’ll remain in a Packers uniform for the rest of his career.
