Philadelphia 76ers core players Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will be out for Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.
Both players are being forced to quarantine after contact tracing after getting hair cuts from a barber in Atlanta who tested positive for the coronavirus.
Embiid and Simmons both made the All-Star team this season, but were held out for the same health and safety precautions.
The Athletic reported that Simmons will be held out of Friday’s game as well against Washington, and Embiid is questionable for that matchup.
Dwight Howard, Shake Milton, and Seth Curry will all see an increase in production with Simmons and Embiid out of the lineup.
