The Utah Jazz signed veteran power forward Ersan Ilyasova for the remainder of the season.
Ilyasova most recently played for the Milwaukee Bucks last season and he signed a 3-year, $21 million contract with them before being waived in November of 2020.
It’s a smart move by Utah, who currently have the league’s best record at 27-9.
Ilyasova provides frontcourt depth for the Jazz, and he can help spread the floor because of his shooting ability.
The 33-year-old will likely share minutes with Georges Niang and Juwan Morgan at the power forward position.
Ilyasova averaged 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game last season.
