Chicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen will be sidelined for two to four weeks with a right shoulder sprain.

Chicago is dealing with multiple front court injuries with Otto Porter, Wendell Carter, and now Markkanen.

The 23-year-old hasn’t been fully healthy and has dealt with injuries and illnesses throughout his young career, which has kept him out of many games.

Markkanen has yet to play a full season since joining Chicago four years ago, and it’s a shame for such a talented young player.

He was averaging 19.1 points and 6.1 rebounds across 14 games played this season.

With Markkanen out, expect Thaddeus Young and rookie Patrick Williams see an increase in usagefor the upcoming weeks.
