San Antonio Spurs guard Derrick White is expected to play Saturday after being out since January 1 with a broken toe.
Head coach Greg Popovich earlier this week that White would make his debut this weekend, and he missed Friday’s game against the Nuggets.
Since it was a first game of a back to back, the 26-year-old should make his return Saturday against the Grizzlies.
Although he’s returning to game action, White may be on a minutes restriction since it’ll only be his second game played this season.
When he’s fully up to speed, he could be an asset for fantasy purposes moving forward, which could cut into Lonnie Walker and Patty Mills’ minutes.
