Former Dallas Mavericks point guard J.J. Barea has signed a deal with Estudiantes in Liga Endesa in Spain.
The league is the top division of basketball in Madrid.
Barea was released by Dallas in December, and he’s not ready to retire from the game just yet.
The 36-year-old has been a member of the Mavericks since 2006 for twelve seasons, and he won an NBA championship with the team in 2011.
In his 14 year NBA career, Barea has earned $44,204,559 in contracts.
