NBA Franchise Valuations drop 2%

The NBA average franchise valuation has dropped 2% due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Real GM modeling of Sportico, the league’s average franchise value is now worth nearly $2.4 billion.

As a whole, the franchises across the league have a fair market value of over $71 billion.

The New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and the Los Angeles Lakers are each worth more than $5 billion.

The Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Toronto Raptors are the next seven highest-valued teams to round out the top ten.

The New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota Timberwolves had the lowest-value in the NBA.
