Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle expects Kristaps Porzingis to return to action in the next week to week and a half.

Porzingis has been practicing with the team since late last month, and now he’s nearing his return for the 3-4 Mavericks.

The 25-year-old has been out since requiring surgery on his torn meniscus that he underwent back in October of last year.

Porzingis averaged 20.4 points 9.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in 57 games played last season, his first with Dallas.
