The Miami Dolphins may be short of running backs this week against their matchup with the Bengals.
Salvon Ahmed is doubtful with a shoulder injury, Matt Breida has been placed on the COVID-19 list, DeAndre Washington is doubtful with a hamstring injury, and Myles Gaskin hasn’t been activated from injured reserve yet.
Only Patrick Laird is the remaining back on the Dolphins roster, but it’s possible that Miami activated Gaskin on Saturday.
It’s also still unclear whether the Dolphins are starting either Ryan Fitzpatrick or Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback this week.
Sunday’s game against Cincinnati could turn into a sloppy one.
