Russell Westbrook has been traded to the Washington Wizards for John Wall and a protected 2023 first-round pick.

Westbrook gets what he wanted, and he’ll play alongside Bradley Beal for the foreseeable future.

Scott Brooks, OKC’s former coach, is now reunited with Westbrook in Washington.

Houston is taking damaged goods in Wall after he’s been through multiple major surgeries and hasn’t played a full season since 2016.

Wall played just 41 games in 2017-18, 32 games in 2018-19, and missed all of last season with a torn Achilles.

With the addition of Westbrook, Washington could go for a playoff push and get a possible six, seven, or eight seed.

Westbrook has 3-years and $132,633,439 left on his contract, while Wall has 3-years and $132,932,520 left on his.
