The Green Bay Packers confirmed that the team wants to trade for Texans WR Will Fuller, but sides of the organization have disagreements.
The Packers are without a formal owner, and ESPN reports that there’s rift between the coaching staff and front office on making a decision.
Fuller has a base salary of $10,162,000 and it’s the last year of his current contract, and the front office is unsure if spending this much on a contract-year wideout is necessary.
Green Bay is lacking a consistent WR2 with the sub-par play of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Allen Lazard recovering from abdominal surgery.
If the Packers land Fuller, it will open and stretch the field even more for an already talented Green Bay offense.
