The Milwaukee Brewers declined Ryan Braun’s $15 million mutual option for 2021.
Instead, they bought him out with a $4 million buyout.
Braun hit .233/.281/.488 in 39 games last season while being banged up with back and finer injuries.
It’ll be interesting to see what direction Braun decides, especially while he’s soon to be 37-years-old.
He could test the open market, which is more likely over retirement.
Braun’s made $185,373,055 in 15 seasons in MLB contracts, all with the Milwaukee Brewers.
