The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have officially signed wide receiver Antonio Brown to a one-year contract.
The final details of the contract have to be finalized and Brown must go through COVID-19 protocols.
Brown is eligible to play as soon as Week 9 according to Adam Schefter.
Tampa Bay was already a 2020 Super Bowl title contender, but if AB can remain sane and healthy they’ll be even stronger.
Tom Brady has a past relationship with Brown since their couple weeks together in New England, and he’s been pushing Tampa Bay to make this move for some time.
After Brown’s gigantic meltdown in Oakland last season, he played in just one game with New England before being suspended for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy multiple times.
For fantasy, it’ll be difficult to see which receivers of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and now Antonio brown who will see a majority of the targets.
