The Washington Nationals placed outfielder Adam Eaton on the 10-day injured list.

Eaton fractured his left index finger on Wednesday vs. Tampa Bay.

With only 10 days remaining in the regular season, it’s likely that Eaton’s season is over.

Eaton hit .226 in 41 games this season with four homers and 17 RBI, so we’ll see if the club decides to bring him back next season.
