According to multiple reports, Neymar is willing to take a pay cut in order to make a return to FC Barcelona two years after his world record €222m deal.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague stated that the 27-year-old is willing to see his net salary cut to around 40% to get a transfer done.

This would bring Neymar’s wages from €38 million to €23 million net.

“It is an interesting situation at Barcelona,” Balague said in his interview with BBC Radio 5 Live.

“They feel they have to try really hard to get him back.”
