Russell Westbrook has been dealt to the Houston Rockets for Chris Paul, first-round picks in 2024 and 2026, pick swaps in 2021 and 2025.
The move is quite interesting, especially at this point in both Harden and Westbrook’s careers.
Harden had the highest usage percentage in all of basketball at 39.6%, while Westbrook was close behind with 30.1%.
For Paul, it’s not the best scenario for him being moved to OKC.
Paul George is gone and the Thunder now with all these draft picks could start rebuilding.
Westbrook has four years and $170 million left on his deal, while Paul has three years and $120 million left on his deal at age 34.
