Shohei Ohtani became the first Japanese born player to hit for the cycle in the MLB tonight against the Rays.
Ohtani hit a 3 run homer in the 1st inning, a double in the third, a stand-up triple in the 5th, then completed the cycle with a single in the 7th.
Shohei is now hitting .281 this season with 8 home runs and 26 RBI in 31 games played.
Ohtani is earning a base salary of $650,000 in 2019.
