Charles will sign a 1-day contract to retire with the Kansas City Chiefs, who drafted him in the 3rd round in 2008.
Charles played 9 of his 11 seasons with the Chiefs, averaging 5.5 yards per carry with over 1,332 rushing attempts.
He topped 1,300 yards from scrimmage 5 times from 2009 to 2014.
The 32-year-old earned $41,747,867 in contracts.
