The Anaheim Ducks have signed general manager Bob Murray to a two-year contract extension through the 2021-22 season.
This season is currently Murray’s 11th as vice president and general manager, and he’s had much success.
Murray has been a three-time finalist for NHL general manager of the year, and he won the award after the 2013-14 season.
Anaheim has advanced to the playoffs the last six seasons (only Pittsburgh has a longer streak), and they’ve posted five straight 100-plus point seasons, which is the league’s longest active streak.
