Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo has been diagnosed with a broken hand and will be sidelined 4-5 weeks.

The injury occured on Wednesday in the fourth quarter when the Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 126-117.

ESPN reported that Rondo’s injury is to his right third metacarpal.

Rondo is making a base salary of $9,000,000 this season with LA. The 32 year-old has a career cash earnings of $97,622,794 in from NBA contracts in 13 seasons with the Celtics, Mavs, Kings, Bulls, Pelicans, and Lakers.
