Hyun-Jin Ryu has accepted a qualifying offer with the Los Angeles Dodgers for $17.9 million.

Ryu became just the sixth player to accept a qualifying offer out of the 80 players that received one.

Ryu pitched a career best 1.97 ERA last season with LA, and had a record of 7-3 with 89 strikeouts.

The 31-year-old from South Korea has career earnings of $36,075,000 from contracts in five MLB seasons, all with the Dodgers.
