The San Jose Sharks and forward Logan Couture have agreed on an 8-year, $64 million contract extension. Couture lead the Sharks last season in points and assists, helping his team earn a 45-27-10 record . The Sharks swept the Anaheim Ducks in the first round in the playoffs, then were defeated 4-2 in the second round by the Vegas Golden Nights.
Couture earned $31,234,756 in his 11 career NHL seasons, all with the San Jose Sharks.
