Golden Boy Productions have agreed on terms for a rematch between Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1-) and Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2). The two will square off September 15, which is Mexican Independence Day weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In their first bout that ended in a draw, Alvarez pocketed $5 million while GGG took home $3 million. According to a report from the LA Times’ Lance Pugmire, their first match recorded 1.3 million pay-per-view buys.
