Mike Trout is getting the day off on Monday in the Angels’ series finale with the Seattle Mariners.
Trout has started in six consecutive games in center field, so it sounds like a scheduled day off for the slugger.
The 31-year-old has been on a tear throughout this month, slashing .309/.377/.782 to go along with eight home runs, 13 RBI, and 12 runs scored.
Magneuris Sierra will be starting in center field in Trout’s absence.
