Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard was sidelined at practice Friday, putting his status for week one in jeopardy.
Lazard hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury, leaving his status shaky for week one against the division rival Vikings.
The 26-year-old is expected to take a big step up this season with the departure of Davante Adams, but that may have to wait if he’s out.
Lazard caught 40 receptions last season for 513 yards and eight touchdowns.
Aaron Rodgers may have to look for veterans Sammy Watkins and Randall Cobb a lot on Sunday, and Romeo Doubs along with Christian Watson could be in the mix as well.
