49ers tight end George Kittle missed practice Wednesday with a groin injury that he suffered Monday.
San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said that they’re going to take it “day by day” after Kittle “did not feel good” Wednesday.
The 49ers open the season on Sunday in Chicago with a matchup against the Bears, but now the three-time Pro-Bowler’s status is now in question.
If Kittle is unable to give it a go, receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk should see an increased workload for week one.
