Orioles recall DL Hall from Triple-A Norfolk

The Baltimore Orioles recalled 23-year-old pitcher DL Hall from Triple-A Norfolk.

Hall made his major league debut last month, and he struggled allowing five earned runs in 3.2 innings pitched.

Although his performance was shaky, Hall could give the Orioles relief help as they push for an AL Wild Card spot for the playoffs.

Baltimore is currently behind the Toronto Blue Jays for the third and final slot with a 68-61 record.

The Orioles could use Hall’s help, who threw 137 strikeouts across 84 1/3 minor league innings this season.
