Joc Pederson is expected to be activated for the San Francisco Giants Saturday following a stint on the concussion injury list.
Pederson had been sidelined since he crashed into the outfield wall while trying to make a catch on July 28 against the Chicago Cubs.
Good news for San Francisco, who’ve struggled lately going 3-7 in their last 10 games.
Pederson was slashing .242/.319/.492 before the injury with 17 home runs, 36 runs, and 43 RBI in 87 games.
Teammates Brandon Crawford and Thairo Estrada should also be returning very soon to the Giants’ lineup.
