Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz for breaking the all-time NFL single season record for most catches by a tight end.
Ertz entered Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans with 101 catches, which was nine behind the record holder Jason Witten.
Ertz caught nine balls for 56 yards and a touchdown before intermission to tie the record, and then broke it with a 9-yard reception on the opening series of the third quarter.
Ertz is the 4th highest-paid TE in the league this season with a total dollar contract of $42,500,000.
