According to MLB.com, Jacob deGrom will make his season debut on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals.

deGrom has been sidelined the entire 2022 season so far since rehabbing from a stress reaction in his right scapula.

Mets manager Buck Showalter said Friday that the 34-year-old would make his season debut next week, and it looks in line to to be this Tuesday in Washington.

New York may have deGrom on a limited pitch count in his return, especially since he hasn’t pitched since 2021.
