New York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil will be activated from the paternity leave list on Thursday after welcoming a new baby.
McNeil is set to return to the lineup in their series opener against the Cubs after missing three straight contests.
The 30-year-old veteran is slashing a well .311/.371/.436 in 77 games this season, and he’s been named to his second-career All-Star appearance.
Fantasy managers can happily insert McNeil into their lineups tonight against right hander Keegan Thompson at Wrigley Field.
