The New York Mets activated ace pitcher Max Scherzer from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday night against the Reds.

Scherzer was originally placed on the 15-day injury list after suffering an oblique injury.

The 37-year-old is set to make his anticipated return to the Mets starting rotation against the struggling 27-52 Cincinnati Reds, who’ve also lost six of their last 10 games.

Scherzer was of course off to a hot start to begin the 2022 campaign, posting a 5-1 record with a 2.54 ERA and 59 strikeouts across 49.2 innings pitched.

Fantasy managers remember to remove him from your injury list, and DFS players should highly consider Scherzer in their lineups tonight.

The Reds also activated Nick Lodolo to return for the matchup.
