Pat Connaughton will exercise his $5.7 million player option to return to the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2022-23 season.
Connaughton was expected to test free agency following another strong season in Milwaukee, but ultimately he decided to stat with the team for at least another year.
The 29-year-old  averaged a career-high 9.9 points per game in 2022 to go along with 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
The three-point marksman should continue to be a key piece in the Bucks rotation off the bench for next season, as Milwaukee tries to get back to being Eastern Conference Champions.
Connaughton originally signed his three-year, $16 million deal with the Bucks in November of 2020.
