Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. is getting the day off on Saturday against the Houston Astros.
Sounds like a routine day off for Chisholm, who homered twice in Friday’s game in Houston and hasn’t been out since May 28.
The 24-year-old is slashing .259/.314/.559 with 12 home runs, 31 runs scored, 40 RBI, and 10 stolen bases across 46 games played in 2022.
Willians Astudillo is set to get the start at second base with Chisholm being sidelined.
