Cincinnati Reds third baseman Brandon Drury is returning to the team’s startling lineup Thursday against the Diamondbacks.
Drury was scratched from the lineup on Wednesday due to right Achilles soreness, but it seems to be a minor issue at this point.
He’ll play third base and bat third in the lineup against Arizona and pitcher Zach Davies.
Drury has been off to a great start for his 2022 campaign, posting a .514 slugging percentage and .841 OPS with 11 home runs, 35 runs, and 30 RBI.
The 29-year-old will look to build on his hot start Thursday afternoon.
