Atlanta Falcons linebacker Deion Jones will miss the rest of the offseason as he’s dealing with a shoulder injury.
The Athletic previously reported that Jones was very likely to be cut with a post-June 1 designation, and now he’s unfortunately unable to perform.
Although Jones combined for 137 total tackles last season, he was part of a Falcons run defense that allowed the sixth most rushing yards per game (131.9) in 2021.
If the Falcons ultimately decide to part ways with the 27-year-old, he’ll find a home that need a solid tackling linebacker up front when his shoulder’s healed.
