Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Sunday that there’s a “really good chance” that Ja Morant will miss Game 4.
Morant suffered the injury in Game 3 of the series with the Warriors, with most blaming Jordan Poole on the play shown below.
Not much damage is seen in the video, but Morant felt like Poole was excessive in his attempt to knock the ball loose.
The NBA didn’t take any further action after reviewing the play in which was thought to be the cause of the injury, and Poole is eligible to play in Game 4 on Monday night.
If Morant is indeed sidelined, Tyus Jones will likely step up and fill the void with Memphis down 2-1 in the series.
