The Houston Rockets shut down Christian Wood and Dennis Schroder for the remainder of the 2022 regular season.
No surprise here, as the Rockets are eliminated from playoff contention.
Houston is shutting down their veterans to scout out their young talent for their last six games of the season.
The team is labeling Wood out with a hamstring injury and Schroder out with a shoulder issue.
Houston also shut down Eric Gordon with a groin injury.
Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr., Alperen Sengun, Garrison Mathews, and Jae’Sean Tate’s numbers will all benefit with the vets sidelined.
