The Boston Red Sox officially signed Trevor Story to a six-year, $140 million contract with a $25 million club option for 2028.
The new contract was agreed to on Sunday then finalized Wednesday morning with a press conference outside of JetBlue Park at Fenway South.
The 29-year-old is expected to play second base in Boston according to NBC Sports, alongside shortstop Xander Bogaerts for the upcoming season.
Story posted 24 home runs, 75 RBI, 88 runs, and 20 steals last season with the Rockies.
The two-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner will be a top priority among fantasy baseball drafts for 2022.
