Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reported that the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts would be “attractive” options for quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield’s playing days seem to be over in Cleveland, and Wilson quoted am unnamed league source.
Mayfield left a statement on his Twitter account last night thanking Cleveland for his time spent there.
Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson met with the Browns this week, and it’s sounding like it’s a possibility the team makes a move for him.
The Athletic’s Zac Jackson added that the Browns might part ways with Mayfield even if they can’t pull off a trade for Watson.
Mayfield battled through multiple injuries last season, and he finished with a 6-8 QB record throwing for 3,010 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
