The Colorado Rockies signed third baseman Kris Bryant to a seven-year, $187 million contract.
This is a great deal for Colorado, who dealt Nolan Arenado to St. Louis in January last year.
Bryant, now 30-years-old, has a great fantasy upside this season playing in a hitter friendly Coors Field.
The 2016 NL MVP was previously on a one-year, $19.5 million contract originally with the Chicago Cubs avoiding arbitration before being traded to San Francisco.
Bryant posted a .265/.353/.481 slash line last season with 25 home runs and 75 RBI.
