Portland Trail Blazers rising star Anfernee Simons has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz with left knee patellar tendinopathy.
This will be Simons’ second straight missed game as he was out Monday against the Timberwolves.
In his place, rookie Brandon Williams got the start and finished with 27 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and four steals.
Simons has been on a tear since Damian Lillard went down, and he averaged 23.7 points per game in February, and 23.1 in January.
