The New England Patriots released 31-year-old linebacker Kyle Van Noy clearing $5 million in salary cap space ahead of the offseason.
Van Noy previously signed a two-year, $12,000,000 contract with New England in August of 2021.
The soon to be 31-year-old totaled 66 tackles, 5.0 sacks, five tackled for loss, and seven QB hits in 16 games last season with the Patriots.
Hitting free agency could be a slight struggle for the linebacker, but he’ll certainly end up on a ball club that’s in need of a veteran’s services.
