Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic will be out at least the next four weeks with plantar fasciitis according to RealGM.
The hits just keep coming for the Blazers this season.
Nurkic has apparently played through symptoms of plantar fasciitis since September, and he’ll move forward with treatment/recovery programs and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Â
The 27-year-old was averaging 15.0 points on 53.5% and 11.1 rebounds in 56 games played in 2021-22.
Without Nurkic for the foreseeable future, Portland could give Greg Brown and Trendon Watford more minutes.
The Trail Blazers are currently the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 25-34 record.
