Zion Williamson out indefinitely with broken finger

Zion Williamson will be out indefinitely for the New Orleans Pelicans with a fractured ring finger on his shooting hand.

With just six games left for the Pelicans in the regular season, it’s most likely that we won’t see Zion back out there.

New Orleans is currently sitting in the 11th spot with a 30-36 record in the Western Conference, and they’ll have to at least move up to 10 if they want to be in the play-in game scenario.

San Antonio is currently ahead of them with a 31-34 record.

Williamson was ninth overall in the NBA this season scoring 27.0 points per game, so that’s a huge blow for New Orleans and their fans.

Zion was also shooting 61.1% from the field, seventh-highest in the league.

If you’re hanging around in fantasy basketball playoffs, Naji Marshall and James Johnson could be solid options with Williamson sidelined.
