The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Tom Brady to a one-year contract extension saving $19 million against the cap for 2021.
The deal locks Brady in for at least the next two seasons.
The 43-year-old has stated that he wants to play into his mid 40’s, and he’s locked in to do just that.
A 45-year-old quarterback hasn’t started in an NFL game since 1950.
With the Bucs franchise tagging wide receiver Chris Godwin, the team is certainly trying to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season.
Brady posted an 11-5 record last season with 4,633 passing yards and 40 touchdowns.
